About Plastic Sign Faces
Hanson Sign Companies has been producing high-quality vacuum-formed and embossed Lexan® faces since 1988. Since then, we have produced plastic faces for large companies, such as Edward Jones®, Circle K®, 7-Eleven®, and H&R Block®, just to name a few.
Hanson Sign Companies offers three types of plastic sign faces: flat faces, smooth pan faces, and embossed pan faces. Hanson Sign Companies uses Solar-Grade Polycarbonate for all plastic sign faces, which is the preferred material for most wholesalers. Polycarbonate is impact resistant and will not break as easily as acrylic. Solar grade also prevents "yellowing" which often occurs within 3—4 years after installation using acrylic.
Our paint department produces the highest-quality products in the industry. Akzo Noble, which manufactures the paint we use to spray Polycarbonate faces, had this to say about our operation, “It was easy to tell their operation ranks in the top 10% nationwide.
