Illuminated Cabinets: Fluorescent Illumination

A primary industry standard for illuminating sign cabinets internally involves the use of fluorescent high output bulbs / lamps made by GE, Phillips, etc.  Our typical lighting utilizes T12 ‘cool white’ bulbs, which offer a typical lighting life of 10,000 hours +/-.  Our pricing includes T12 lamps taped right to your sockets in the cabinet for safer transit. 

We also offer T8 high output bulbs for an add’l. cost, longer life and brighter lighting. 

Our standard power source for T12 lamps is a magnetic ballast made by Advance.  We also offer an electronic ballast as well for a nominal upcharge and lighter weight.
